WE MADE IT OUT ALIVE ✨

Six months into this year, I woke up one morning and realised something I’d never felt so deeply before: I am fully alive

Not just breathing — living. Not just working — thriving. Not just doing — being.

This year, I decided I will not die. Not from burnout. Not under the weight of endless to-do lists. Not from the silent death that comes when you live on autopilot and call it ambition

As an entrepreneur, I know what it’s like to wear “busy” like a badge of honour. To feel guilty for resting. To measure my worth by output and bank balance. But for the first time in my life, I feel so at peace with how I’ve spent my days, the days I did absolutely nothing, and the days I worked with everything I had...

Why This Year Feels Different

This year has been no different to any other year, my bank balance is pretty much the same, I'm still juggling several projects whilst raising a child solo and going through all the motions that us human being do (including heartbreak but let's not speak about that). The only difference I've made this year is, I choose to live in flow. I choose to build rhythm into my life, a balance of work and rest that lets my mind stay clear and my spirit stay light

I’ve learned that when I’m rested, I think better. When I’m present, I create better

When I pause, I hear God clearer

Me, enjoying the sun
Me, enjoying the sun

A Reminder for Us All

If you’re an entrepreneur reading this, let me tell you this, hustle alone will not sustain you. We love to say we’re “building the life of our dreams,” but too many of us are dying inside while doing it.

This year, I pray you give yourself permission to breathe. To rest without guilt. To trust that slowing down is sometimes the most productive thing you can do.

A Practical Life Audit

Here’s a simple table to help you take stock of your own life halfway through the year.

Area

Current State (1-5)

What’s working?

What needs attention?

One small action to improve

Physical health

Mental health

Spiritual life

Relationships

Finances

Environment (home/work)

“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.”— Psalm 118:17 (NKJV)

This is your reminder: You will not die. Not just physically — but mentally, spiritually, emotionally. You will live. You will thrive. You will testify.
