DOES FAILURE REALLY EXIST?

Jumping into the deep end. No armbands. No lifeguard in sight… well, that’s what entrepreneurship feels like right now.
What if it doesn’t work? What if I fail? What if, what if… The mind is relentless in its ability to make up doubts, drowning you in an anxiety-ridden state. But not for long because if you’re in this game, you absolutely have to push past every negative whisper and gut-wrenching uncertainty

Focus is key!
But let’s be real, focus is a daily battle. In a hyperactive world of indulgence, constant notifications, and shiny distractions pulling us in every direction, staying locked in on our goals feels like trying to hold water in our hands. Some days, you feel on top of the world, moving with momentum. Other days, it’s like pushing a massive rock uphill, questioning if the effort is even worth it
This is my long-winded way of saying: LIFE IS LIFE-ING !!
I turn 33 in March, and if you had asked me a decade ago where I’d be by now career-wise, in love, with family, I’d have painted you a very different picture. But here I am, standing in the middle of a life that looks nothing like the vision I had. And some days, I wrestle with that reality. Because when you’re putting in the effort and not seeing the return, it’s easy to feel like you’re failing…
You start asking God, “When?” Even though deep down, you know His timing is ALWAYS perfect

Is Failure Even Real?
Recently, I came across a concept that shifted my perspective: compounding interest.
It’s a financial principle, but it applies to life, business, and growth in ways I hadn’t considered before. The idea is simple: small, consistent actions lead to exponential results over time. At first, it looks like nothing is happening. You’re making deposits, whether that’s in your work, your relationships, your health but the growth is invisible. Then, out of nowhere, BOOM the results snowball in
Darren Hardy, in his book The Compound Effect, explains how small daily choices, compounded over time, create massive success. Similarly, James Clear, in Atomic Habits, highlights how tiny changes, when done consistently, lead to remarkable transformations. These books changed my life. I know I can be a little dramatic but it really helped reinforce the idea that what may feel like slow progress is actually the foundation for long-term success
The problem is, most of us quit before that tipping point

We call it “failure” when, in reality, we were just in the early, quiet stages of compounding. What if success is just the accumulation of showing up, even when it feels pointless? What if failure is only real when you stop trying?
I’m learning that failure doesn’t truly exist, it’s just a pause, a lesson or a redirection (man's rejection is God's redirection). Maybe that business idea didn’t take off, but it taught you something that will help you build the next one. Maybe that relationship didn’t work, but it prepared you for the one that will. Maybe the door closed because it wasn’t meant for you, and something better is around the corner.
So, I’ll keep making my deposits, writing, designing, building, learning and trusting that one day, the compounding will pay off. And when it does, I’ll look back and realise: I never really failed. I was just in the process of becoming
What do you think? Does failure really exist?
Only if you quit.
Stay Blessed,
