WE NEED TO SEE THE EVIDENCE

Would you believe me if I told you I’ve been putting off making my website and publishing this post for two years? Two whole years of excuses, over-planning, and endless "not yet."

Why is it that we often know what we should do, what we want to do—the thing that will move us closer to the person we want to become—yet we hold ourselves back? I’ve felt it in my gut so many times. That persistent, wrenching voice, deep inside me that says, “C’mon sis, let’s go!”

If you’re anything like me, you’ve had enough of silencing that voice. You’ve decided it’s time to honor your talents, skills, and the journey that brought you here. No more waiting, no more hesitating—it’s time to bear the fruit of our labor.

God calls us to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28), and I believe this applies to every area of our lives: our businesses, relationships, and personal growth. Potential is wonderful, but it’s the manifestation of that potential—seeing our ideas and dreams come to life—that truly matters.

For me, 2025 is about becoming living proof.

I want to be evidence of what’s possible when faith, resilience, and purpose align. Here’s what that means to me:

1. God is great.His blessings are abundant, and through Him, all things are possible. Over the past few months, my faith has grown stronger, and I’ve seen firsthand how God shows up when I need Him most. Challenges that felt insurmountable in my business are now opportunities that have come to fruition. He has reminded me time and again that when we trust Him, He will make a way.

2. Single mothers can thrive in business.Balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship isn’t easy, but my child gives me a fire and purpose I can’t ignore. I want to show other single mothers that it’s possible to build something extraordinary for yourself and your family, even when the odds feel stacked against you.

3. Healthy love exists.I’m learning to embrace love in all its forms—romantic love, self-love, and the love I have for my family. It’s not always easy, but I’m committed to being living proof that true, healthy, and meaningful love is real and worth pursuing.

One thing to remind ourselves is that growth happens in both visible and invisible ways. Sometimes it looks like business wins, promotions, or public achievements. But often, it’s the quiet transformations—the healing after heartbreak, the strength you find after life knocks you down, or the spiritual growth from reconnecting with faith—that matter most.

So, what does “seeing the evidence” mean for you?

It might not look exactly as you imagined. Maybe it’s the small wins that lead to big changes, or the moments of clarity that remind you why you started. Whatever it is, I believe that if we move with purpose and faith, we’ll begin to see the evidence of all the work we’ve put in.

2025 is the year of evidence: evidence of our faith, our growth, and the power of our resilience. It’s time to step into EVERYTHING we were meant to be!
